Missing in media coverage is discussion of Hugo Chavez’s “brown shirts.” Chavez is a bully, taking his nation into the darkness of dictatorship with threats, bullying, and death to opponents. Over a matter of manners, he threatens the King of Spain with loss of property interest. Now he threatens the US over oil if his path the dictatorship is commented upon. He is a thug. And it is amazing to watch how quickly and democracy can convert to a dictatorship.
