Missing in media coverage is discussion of Hugo Chavez’s “brown shirts.” Chavez is a bully, taking his nation into the darkness of dictatorship with threats, bullying, and death to opponents. Over a matter of manners, he threatens the King of Spain with loss of property interest. Now he threatens the US over oil if his path the dictatorship is commented upon. He is a thug. And it is amazing to watch how quickly and democracy can convert to a dictatorship.

Everyone knows Hillary Clinton wants to run for President. Curious how the broad-based network of like-minded people in the media and entertainment industry works. Now we suddenly have a TV series coming out this month called “Commander in Chief” in which we will all get to be educated and made to feel comfortable with the idea of a woman being president by watching one running around on a pretend make-believe TV show. Sort of like educational films in school. Interesting how these various things coalesce on the liberal side. Don’t misunderstand me. Margaret Thatcher and Jeanne Kirkpatrick were titans, and I had through Ms. Kirkpatrick ought to run during her time at least as V.P. And I for one would never pick and argument with Condoleezza Rice. I am merely commenting on the interesting help that suddenly appears on so many fronts when the liberal network gears up on something it likes. Suddenly movies come out, songs are written, the drumbeat starts in all the media — and we all feel like we’re in a forced communist reeducation camp.
